By Charism, the Institute means “the grace to know how to work concretely to extend Christ in families, in education, in the mass media, in the intellectuals and in other legitimate manifestations of human life” (Constitutions, 30). The principal means we use to evangelize the culture are preaching, missionary activities such as popular missions, apostolates with the youth, Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and teaching in schools, universities, seminaries and apostolates on the internet.
The Charism requires all the members to work following the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, with a genuine devotion to the Virgin Mary, in total submission to the Pope and the Catholic Church and in observation of the will and intentions of our Founder. We promise not to be afraid in front of the missionary adventure, even in the most difficult situations and in adverse conditions.
In short, we want to make each man “like a new Incarnation of the Word” (Constitutions, 31).
